Time.. and our cards
Card focus, Deck Building, Deck tech, True Brujah, V:TES,
Peoples who play with me know i am a weird V:TES deck builder and player. I always wanna play or see playing a card before give any judgement on it. That's why all of my articles will be share with own personnal point of view and experience of the game... And i'm sure it's the same for everybody.
Enought talk , let's jump in this first article of the Tabriz Library.
The Mandatory one:
In another way the inferior temporis is a great threat, making aggravated damage before range with an Outside the Hourglass can destroy many vampires , even those nasties Wraiths allies.
The inferior Obfuscate +1 stealth can be useful , with a crypt using Temporis and Obfuscate. (With Synesios by example).
2.The Tryckiest one :
Tangle of Atropos hand , is the trikyest modifier of the game. Because this card break the rules and can confuse your opponents. For example you attempt a Summon history with Lydia at 0 stealth, your prey try to block Donal O'Connor, so you add the +1 stealth from Lydia's power and your opponent play a Second Tradition : Domain and gain +2 intercept.
Normaly at this time the block is successful , but when you play Tangle Atropos' Hand :
- You cancel the action and unlock
- You get back to your hand the Summon History
After that you can replay the summon , yes because the action has been canceled by your effect, so you can play again the Summon History. The non-repeat Action (NRA) doesn't apply for this. And the addtional +1 Stealth bonus of the superior Temporis is so powerful here !
And cherry on the cake, is after that playing a Domain of evernight to be untaped in order to play a Telepathic misdirection for example.
This card can forced your opponent to waste a reaction cards, because if all of his/her minions are locked, playing Tangle Atropos' Hand, no combat occurs and all defenses strategies can be punished, (Like an Earth Meld or Majesty) . Your opponents will lose the chance to cycle more cards, don't forget to smile at him like the Joker after that.
3. The supporters:
Modifiers are the main types of cards to make successful action, of course some masters , location or a Vampire power can help for that. for this deck I propose to share with you to night. Because of the errata of the Ankara Citadel , this deck has changed a little , i removed some modifier .
It is a Lydia Deck, wit her superior Auspex she can play Crocodile tongue and Quicksilver contemplation.
The first one really help against ally based deck ( yes The Unmasking is very present those days !) and it combined perfectly if combat occurs with Outside the Hourglass , four blood before the range are chosen , not a lot of deck can do this.
Don't forget that Quicksilver Contemplation can be use during the polling step of a political action, it's gave me the opportunity to sealed some deal with it.
Finally some Pocket Out Of Time, it's just a basic +1 stealth at inferior temporis. But here it's very useful to make successfull bleeds agains heavy intercept deck.

You know what ? I wan't to add more Domain of evernight ! But i can't.
It is a bleed deck , the purpose is not to make your prey faster but smarter...
My last game with this deck was not easy ,because of a Carna behind me. So the plan was to grab the Ankara Citadel and after The Guarded Rubrics on Lydia. During this game I always played a Vaticination before playing a Summon history , the main target for this are bounce cards ( Deflection , telepathic misdirection) or Wakes cards.
Removing an Eye of Argus from Carna's player hand allow me to have my Citadel and keep moving on my prey.
All the other vampires got superior Auspex , in order to play the Misdirection or block some non dangerous action.
The weakness of this deck , is combat. Any rush based deck destroy Lydia. That's why I add two good defense allies who can be damage only by aggravated, The Ponticulus and Tye Cooper.
You must put them into play quickly as maybe with Summon History if both of your prey or predator play a combat or any enter combat oriented strategies.
